A lil about Danielle
I’m on a mission to brighten the world through professional, thoughtful design and illustration. I am a collaborator by nature who seeks to fully understand the creative needs for each and every project I work on. I utilize my full creative skillset to overcome every creative challenge I face. This is just a fancy way of saying I’m a multidisciplinary artist who is also a great teammate!
I studied at the College for Creative Studies and earned a degree in graphic design from Spring Arbor University (Go Cougs!). Throughout my career, I’ve balanced full-time work as a corporate senior art director with freelance projects, practicing everything from murals to illustration, printmaking, apparel design and more. My husband, Eric, fur-child, Grizz, and I split our time between Detroit and the Traverse City area. When I’m not designing, you can most likely find me in a thrift shop, garage sale or antique store, scoring deals and adding to my vintage salt & pepper shaker collection.
I thrive in the realm of visual communication—it's where I shine. I'm passionate about simplifying intricate concepts and data into compelling visuals and graphics that resonate with audiences. With over 8 years of corporate design experience, including 4 years as a Senior Art Director, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. I’m much better with pictures rather than words, but don’t just take my word for it, view my portfolio here!
